Philips PET1002 Portable DVD Player (10.2") w/ remote battery bag carrying case There is a line in the screen. Please see the picture . It does go away see video screen shot for that. The battery has clips on the back has two small chips missing that holds the battery in place,but the battery does work. Maybe you can put strong tape to hold the battery in place. The battery does work see the picture with the green light on and screen on with the unit not plugged in the wall. Last time I used it the remote did work but as of now the remote control battery is dead. Kept in Smoke and pet-free home. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail
