Description
Vintage Pioneer Direct Drive Fully Automatic turntable Good operating condition. Some minor cosmetics. i.e. marks on dust cover, vinyl wrap peel. cracks around hinges of dust cover. The dustcover is completely operational for now. The cracks are not causing an issue. The main vinyl peel problem can be seen on the front of the deck. Somebody had a piece of clear packing tape holding the hood down and when I removed it it took the woodgrain vinyl with it. So, I carefully placed it back in place so it won't look so bad. The new owner can do what they want with it. All functions work as intended in automatic as well as manual mode. The speed control works well and is stable. As many of you know, these models have a common issue with the tonearm not returning all the way to the rest but stopping 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch short or so. This one was no different, but I fixed it by replacing the little padding that wears out or disintegrates over time. It returns all the way now. Thanks to internet and youtube for that information on the problem and the fix. The tonearm is equipped with a Grado cartridge that works but the stylus may be suspect as I do not know how much it was used, etc. It did seem to play fine upon testing. I do all of my own packing to ship and it takes me about 2 hours to properly pack a turntable so rest assured it will be done right.
