Product Introduction The Murasame class is the third generation of gas turbine propulsion general-purpose destroyers, following the Hatsuyuki and Asagiri classes, and nine ships were built by 2002. The first ship, the Murasame, was completed in March 1996, and was deployed to the Indian Ocean under the New Anti-Terrorism Special Measures Law, and was involved in overseas activities such as convoy escort off the coast of Somalia as part of anti-piracy measures. It is currently part of the 1st Escort Squadron, 1st Escort Group in Yokosuka. ・Includes a complete set of parts from the new equipment set "NE10: 1/700 JMSDF Ship Equipment Set 1" and one etching part from "PE143: 1/700 JMSDF Escort Ship Takanami Class & Murasame Class".
