The bristles are first cut boar bristles making a stiff and effective and high quality beard brush. A solid beard brush for daily use When we worked with the brush makers to craft the ZilberHaar Pocket Beard brush (with stiff bristles) we wanted to keep with our tradition of quality and natural feel. The brush isn't lacquered but oiled. The bristles are all boar bristles. The key is to achieve the right humidity level inside the wood. Boar bristles are checked to ensure ensure quality. They need to have the right length and the right stiffness. Soft bristles are separated as needed. The bundles are then trimmed to size. The pearwood handles that have been carved, hand sanded and verified are then oiled and laser etched. Once ready they are sent through the tufting machine. Final controls are then done by hand.
