Postcard Cockington Forge Torquay Devon Manufacture Famous Miniature Horseshoe Unposted. Good vintage condition. Scratches and multiple creasing / fold / bend marks across the surface of the postactard. Damage to the bottom edge in the middle, paper is teared - lenght of damage approx. 0.5 cm long, some damage to other edges. Bottom left corner creased / bent / fold, all other corners bent slightly . Dirt spots, discoloration, creasing, scratches, missing paint and stains marks may be visible on single or both sides of the postcard. Good condition for its age. Please look at the photos for condition details. Additional details : The Forge is one of the most photographed buildings in Britain, and dates back to the fourteenth century, making it a focal point of the Domesday village of Cockington for over seven hundred years. Although no longer producing goods from the furnace for practical and economic reasons, the Forge still manufactures the famous miniature horseshoe, and is open from Easter till Winter.
