It has an adjustable high density polyethylene inner housing and high density polyethylene roller. The assembly inserts into the bottom or top of the sliding screen door using the included screws. The roller adjusts to the correct position needed. This style is found on Columbia sliding screen doors but is also used on a variety of other sliding screen door manufacturers. Had trouble with the first one , but tried the seller again and he "shined". Great seller , got it so fast , in this Christmas times where packages are being sent everywhere. He did great.   3. Who ships light bulbs in a thin bubble envelope? They did make it here, but the paperboard boxes the bulbs were in looked pretty rough. I received an e-mail that they were shipped from Amazon. I try all I can to avoid Amazon; that's why I bought here. But they were just as described and arrived in an acceptable amount of time.
