KichizaemonX en France avec mon ami Andoche Praudel INTRODUCTION : This book introduces 67 works produced by Raku Kichizaemon, the 15th generation, who went to France alone-leaving all the soil, glaze, tools, and kilns that he always uses for production in Kyoto. From those works, we can see a new part of his sensibilities. From 2007 to 2010, the pottery was made by staying in Rubinac, where a French friend's house is located, for about a month every year, using local soil and glaze. The latter 17works (including photographic works) are by Andoche Praudel. The photos of the ceramics by Takashi Hatakeyama are outstanding. The book design is also excellent, such as the use of paper with a good texture. All contents are written in Japanese and French. RAKU Kichizaemon XV Born in 1949 as the eldest son of Kakunyu. Studied in Italy after graduating from Tpkyo University of the Arts in 1973. In 1981, after the death of Kakunyu, succeeded to the Raku family headship as Raku Kichizaemon XV.
