Description

Slag glass or end of the day glass is what we believe this is; it appears to be done in a starburst framed by a irregular rectangle. A wonderful piece that is full of inclusions, and what a marvelous red color, this is a large hatpin measuring around eleven inches, the top itself is just a little under an inch across, it looks to be pressed or sandwich glass. There are a lot of bubbles and inclusions in this beauty, the shaft is tarnished and there is no trace of silver content. You will be so pleased!
