Extremely RARE Antique Victorian Oval Wire Frame BLUE TINTED SUN Eye Glasses in ORIGINAL LEATHER CASE D ESCRIPTION: Scans show it all.....VERY NICE pair of antique Victorian oval steel frame eye-glasses. THESE ARE QUITE RARE AND WERE MADE WiTH NICELY TINTED LENSES FOR EYE PROTECTION FROM THE SUN. Excellent condition overall. ANTIQUE GLASSES ARE ALWAYS NICE, AND THESE ARE EVEN MORE SPECIAL WITH THE TINTED LENSES. Frames are in great shape with excellent original patina. Lenses are a pleasant blue tint, not often seen. Also not often seen, these come with the original leather case. Marked in gold, and appears to be "Thaxter, Washington St., Boston". This pair is complete and usable or a nice item to add to a variety of collections or displays. IT IS IN ONE OF THE NICEST CONDITIONS I HAVE EVER SEEN. If you wanted one typical pair, this is the one, and the nicest one I have ever seen. Also, can be worn with modern lenses to give an old fashioned look, used as props in theatre productions or with Halloween costumes, or just worn as they are to give a very unusual, cool look, etc. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!!!
