For your consideration…. a charming pair of Royal Doulton Slater’s Patent vases, each standing 5 ⅝ inches tall. These petite stoneware vases feature a rich cobalt blue ground decorated with raised blue and white enamel scrollwork and gilt floral detailing over a soft beige central band. Gold gilding also accents the rims and bases. Measurements: 5-5/8 in. (15.15(cm) high and 3 in. (7.62cm) wide. Marks: - Both vases are impressed “Royal Doulton England”, dating them after 1902 (when the Lambeth mark was no longer used). - Additional incised marks include “7078” (the shape/design number for this Slater’s line), “672” with a square above it, and on one vase a small “1” or “f". - Each also bears a hand-inscribed decorator’s monogram (resembles a “G” or “U” with a slash)
