Description
This is a complete set of a beginner-friendly indoor remote control car that has not been driven outdoors yet. The body of the car is a Mazda RX-7, painted by an amateur, which means the paint and decals might not be of high precision. The body has been reinforced with fiberglass mesh for stability during expected running. The chassis is from the beginner-friendly TT-02 First Try Kit, assembled for easy entry into the hobby. The gear differential is a manufacturer-produced unit for better initial performance, but overall fine-tuning and adjustments are required since it is a handmade project by an amateur. There is a new aluminum propeller shaft included as an option. The tires have been upgraded to 1050 ball bearings in eight locations, replacing the plastic bearings. The tires are brand new and unused, included with the First Kit. Additionally, protective tape has been applied to the underside of the chassis to prevent initial scratches, which can be removed for a pristine chassis. The transmitter is a brand new Sanwa MX-6, pre-configured for first use, with the option to expand to up to nine vehicles. Basic trim, steering angle EPA, and servo response adjustments have been made, but fine-tuning is recommended using the included instruction manual. The electronic components consist of Sanwa products purchased this year, including an MX-6 transmitter, RX-391 receiver, BL-SIGMA ESC, and SRM-102Z servo. The ESC is not brushless compatible, and a new body includes a light set with indirect connection to the battery, featuring randomly flashing rainbow lights and steady orange lights at the front, with red, white, and orange lights at the rear. The front retractable lights are not installed. The rear includes a dummy exhaust pipe. The motor is a standard 540 brushed motor, and performance has been tested with a compatible battery. Also included are a brand new Tamiya standard quick charger and a Tamiya NiCad battery with a capacity of 1300mAh, both within two years of purchase. Charging the battery will enable the car to run, although AA batteries are needed for the transmitter.
