In this auction you are bidding on a Vintage Antique Fire Sprinkler Head Stopper & Shut Off Wrench. This tool, about 10 inches long is made of Brass with exception of the screw that holds the stopper in place and the single strand spring wire that is inside the handle. It looks to have been used very little. It is very good shape. The oval stopper appears to made of some non-metallic material. It doesn’t show much wear and it could be a part that was changed often. It seems very hard, although it could be rubber that has hardened over the years. I have had this item for many years and I have never seen another like it.
