The pump is self-priming and connects to a 3/4-inch standard garden hose on the discharge port. If the tubing is used on the intake port, the garden hose can be used on the discharge port, if the garden hose is used on the intake port, another garden hose will be needed on the discharge (not included). Ideal for removing oil, draining sinks, water heaters, aquariums, etc. The power of this pump is directly related to the power of the drill. A 2500 RPM electric drill is recommended as battery powered drills charging capabilities can lessen over time and the drill may not perform at full expectation and could affect the performance of the drill pump. This pump is designed to move liquid only. Do not use it for pumping muddy water or water with solids in it. DO NOT USE FOR TRANSFERRING FLAMABLE LIQUIDS!
