Description

Civil War relics offer a tangible connection to the past. These artifacts, ranging from buttons to bullets and calvary gear to powder horns, provide invaluable insights into the lives of Northern and Southern soldiers. These relics not only offer a glimpse into the military aspects of the Civil War but by preserving and studying these artifacts, we honor the memory of those who lived through one of the most pivotal periods in American history. I accumulated these artifacts from various collectors and dealers over the years and believe they were very accurate in identifying each relic in this collection. I have included the following in this display: *A Confederate horseshoe found in Vicksburg, MS; *A 69 Cal. Musket Ball found at the Battle of Stones Creek, TN; * An iron shoe heel found at Bentonville Battleground; *A Union Infantry Coat Button; *A Confederate 54 Cal. 3 Ring Tennessee Variant; *A 50 Cal. Gallagher found in Stafford, VA; *A Confederate Pistol Ball Flask/Powder Horn; *Two Union Cuff Buttons; *A Confederate Infantry Coat Button; *A Confederate Officers Coat Button; *A Virginia Confederate Coat Button; *A North Carolina Confederate Coat Button; *A Confederate Staff Officers Coat Button; *A Civil War Saddle Stirrup; *A 54 Cal. Dish Base Burnside Bullet found in Petersburg, VA; *A Confederate 54 Cal. Austrian-Mississippi Variant; *A Confederate 52 Cal. Sharpshooters Bullet; *A 54 Cal. Confederate Sharps Bullet; *A 54 Cal.
