Pair of Restored 1930's-1950's Art Deco/MCM, White Porcelain Sconces by J.I. Paulding These art deco, white porcelain sconces were manufactured by J.I. Paulding in New Bedford, Mass. during the 1930's to early 1950's. They are in very good condition and are ready to hang on your wall. They have a few minor discolorations, but nothing that stands out. We have carefully cleaned each of the sconces and removed the old wall paint and dirt from the sides and back. We disassembled the pull switches and cleaned, polished, and lubed the parts and they work perfectly. We replaced the original nickel plated pull chains with new like kind to brighten them up. The fixtures even have their original porcelain knobs at the end of the pull chains, and that is a bonus because they are missing more often than not. The sale includes the mounting hardware (nickel plated mounting nuts, threaded nipples, crossbars). Everything has been tested and is guaranteed to work correctly. The two prong, polarized outlets at the base of each fixture have also been rewired. However, since they are not the modern 3-wire grounded outlets, you should consult your electrician as to whether to hook them up. Dimensions: 6-1/4" high where it meets the wall (7-1/2" to end of chain), 3-7/8" wide, project 4" from the wall. They use standard base bulbs (not included). Shipping is buyer's choice of USPS Ground Advantage, UPS or FedEx Ground, or USPS Priority Mail. The sconces are guaranteed to be as described and we will accept their return if buyer is dissatisfied. Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them. We have many other antique porcelain sconces and fixtures for sale, so please check out our lighting store !
