Description

Your chance tio build and own a UNIQUE Revell 1/700 model of the Cunard Queen Mary 2. I have water-lined the ship; how many of those have you seen on eBay?. The ship sits dead flat with no warpage. I have also cleaned up some major parts for test-fitting. The bulkheads were installed for the waterlining process and are cut down (up?) as well. They've been removed but the hull halves are still assembled. Unpack it carefully and re- install the bulkheads before you start working on it. They will install with the bottoms on exactly the same plan as the hull. The box is a bit shelf worn from being through several moves but the model kit is well packed and protected...you aren't building the box. The kit is absolutely complete with clear parts and decals.... see photos. I had planned on building this model but times change... I just have too many "round-tuits'; now it's your turn. I've built the Revell 1/400 and the Airfix 1/600 QM 2s. This one is nicely detailed and takes up alot less room than either of those. I have photos of the ship in LA and some scrapbook style clipping of Cunard Ads from their promo literature that give decent deck views and color detail if interested.. This is an "open box" kit. This is a nicely detailed model, relatively easy to build, and the kit is absolutely complete. The box and instruction sheet, however, have suffered through years of storage and several moves. You build the model, however; not the box. I've also included a photo of a build done in about 3 -4 hours. The model in the photos is for DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY and is not included. If you wish a completed model, that would be through my FB Black Daylight. See photos. I am not a dealer or a "store". I'm a collector/builder. I am clearing out about over 500 kits; most of them new; opened only for inspection and admiration. Many more have been started and semi-complete, in a "modular" state where finishing is easy. As such, ALL kits have are fully inventoried and photographed and any shortcomings noted. They are "round-tuit's" but time and reality have crept in. The research for each one has been the better part of the build for me. Make me an offer; I'd rather see something built than sitting around gathering dust. I have only one negative strike; I forgot to include the sails in a Heller kit. I sent them later, at my expense, but the buyer failed to note that.
