Lovely large porcelain bone china egg coddler by Royal Worcester of England. This Evesham Gold pattern was crafted in England. This pattern on this piece features a peach on one side and a cluster of currents on the other side. It has a white porcelain, bone china body and a metal screw top with a ring. This double sized egg coddler comes with a booklet of fun-to-try recipes. Egg coddlers are simply porcelain or glass containers that allow the egg to be soft cooked without being placed directly into the water. Coddled eggs are cooked in a water bath out of it's shell in a porcelain coddler or ramekin. The most iconic British coddlers are made by Royal Worcester . This coddler is in very fine pre-owned condition.
