Original packaging is a carton, does not have lid. Two dishes have small spot where gold rim worn off, see photo. 3 out of 4 dishes have " O O " carved into bottom, see photo. I reached out more than once to enquire about the cost of shipping but did not receive any reply until after purchasing this bowl. I expressed my concern that $125 to ship a bowl within the US was too high based on my experience-recently had a mirror shipped from France for less than half that price. I did receive the bowl in good condition, very carefully wrapped and shipped promptly. However, I still believe I was vastly overcharged for shipping.
I was relieved to have been informed by the seller that my item was not lost. I recently just got back to see that they had updated my tracking information and were able to indicate to me when my item would be arriving. Excellent communication! I'm grateful for their service and the level of care that went into the packaging to ensure that my item would arrive to its destination safely. Item is as described and true to depiction in the listing!
Is a lovely bell that came with the original packaging. Was very slow to arrive but the seller responded to my message and explained they had an ice storm. Glad to have the bell.
