Russian Doll Traditional Folk Costume Porcelain Face Christmas Tree Ornament. Her hair appears to be a beige/blond embroidery floss or thread. It is tied in a long braid with a blue ribbon. If I had to date her, I would say she is from the 1990's. There are no holes or stains. This is a beautiful handmade Eastern European (most likely Russian) doll Christmas ornament. She is dressed in traditional folk art attire which includes a multicolored Sarafan (long jumper dress) and a very detailed headdress (Kokoshink). Most likely purchased as a souvenir, the headdress and dress are accented with rickrack and floral ribbon. Her hair appears to be a beige/blond embroidery floss or thread. It is tied in a long braid with a blue ribbon. If I had to date her, I would say she is from the 1990's. She has a red cord attached to the back for easy hanging and measures approximately 5 inches tall (without cord) and is about 4 inches long. Ornament is in good pre-owned condition.
