I wanted to give negative but gave a neutral experience because the seller refunded my money, even though she suffered a loss due to her mistake. It was a different item made in China than the one shown in the image. Few sellers think they can send whatever product they choose and that customers will just accept it, should reconsider their business practices. Deceiving customers by selling different products than advertised. If you want to offer alternative items, please ask for approval first.
I'm very happy with the fan itself; it's sturdy and should last me for years. I'm also impressed with the service; there was a delivery glitch and the seller investigated that within minutes and told me when the item would actually be delivered (it was). But I'm not happy that the item was drop-shipped from Amazon. The main reason I shop on eBay is that I don't want to buy from Amazon. I think if sellers are going to do that, they should say up front.
Good price, fast despatch, but the packaging wasn't robust enough, as one of the boxes was crushed to pieces and 2 of them had marks on them (I did manage to wipe them off) so will keep the damaged one and give the others as gifts.
