The clock in the image is a Seiko "Melodies in Motion" Mantel Clock, specifically identified by several sources as model QXW216GRH (also referred to as QMX216GRH). Released approximately 15–20 years ago, it is a musical clock that performs an animated sequence on the hour. Key Features Animated Display: On the hour, the center pedestal spins while the clock plays one of 12 high-fidelity melodies (6 popular/classical songs and 6 Christmas songs). The radio was as described. The packing was mixed. The vacuum tubes were removed and packed separately as requested. However, the radio was single-boxed, even though double-boxing was requested (standard packing for this type of item). Also, the radio was wrapped with bubble wrap. This type of packing is very susceptible to shipping damage. The item did arrive undamaged, thanks to luck.
Unit itself was very good condition. Its ancient box is pretty sad, but then the photos show that. The included operating sheet was "gold" in itself for this collector. The shipping packaging was very well done so the vulnerable Bakelite arrived undamaged.
This seller shipped very promptly and everything was packaged well. The camera arrived looking exactly as described, even better than in the pictures.
