In neutral required mode, ZBM5 operates as a Zigbee router, enhancing the robustness and coverage of your Zigbee network, supporting smart lights, and can be used with the detach relay function in the eWeLink app. With the detach relay enabled, smart lights won't lose power when the wall switch is turned off, allowing them to remain smart at all times. *Supports connecting smart lights only in the neutral required mode. In n o neutral required mode, ZBM5 operates as a Zigbee end device. The external load must meet a minimum power requirement of 3W. It doesn't support smart lights, including but not limited to dimmable, color-changing, gradient, and lights with built-in controllers and LED strips. ZBM5 is compatible with Home Assistant using the ZBDongle via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT integration, creating a smart home solution that works seamlessly with devices from various manufacturers. This item is actually very good , i posted a review yesterday slating it but hands up i'm a tool ,it actually works very well once it registers with phone, I wouldve deleted that review if Ebay would let me.
