GLAMOROUS antique emerald and diamond ring 14k white gold, size 6.75 US, 7.25 grams, approx 1 ct natural emerald (likely Colombian based on the color), 14 1pt natural diamonds, 22 diamond chips. The ring face is 3 cm long and 2.8 cm wide. This ring is quite the centerpiece. It is SO elegant yet SO dramatic its almost a wonder how both those words can be used to describe any one thing. The bright stones and the knuckle-to-knuckle design makes this ring the center of attention! The shape of the ring face is "navette" which translates from French to mean "little boat" as the oval design comes to a point on the top and bottom of the ring like a little boat. This style is very flattering and elongating to the finger/hand. I originally purchased the ring in the UK but there are maker's marks on the outside of the band (pictured in last two photos) which hint at French origins. I've tried to google image search the marks but have not gotten much clarity - if you know what they mean I'd love to learn! As a collector, this ring is a dream! SO much charm, character, beauty, and f inger coverage with all natural stones and fine craftsmanship. This investment piece is also a dream gift!
