SUPER RARE Contorted Mulberry - 3 cuttings for rooting or grafting "Looking for a specific plant cutting? Feel free to message us! We’re happy to help you find the perfect variety for your garden." 🌳 Grafting Method (with Nylon Cover & No Direct Sunlight) Materials Needed: Sharp grafting knife or blade Rootstock (healthy mulberry tree or seedling) Nylon grafting tape or parafilm Humid environment or humidity dome Shaded area (no direct sunlight) Steps: Select a healthy cutting with at least one node and a firm stem. Make a clean diagonal cut on both the cutting and the rootstock. Join the two cut surfaces tightly and wrap with nylon grafting tape to seal the union. Cover the grafted area with a plastic wrap or humidity dome to retain moisture. Place the grafted plant in bright but indirect light, avoiding direct sun. Mist occasionally and keep the area warm (65–75°F). After 2–4 weeks, check for signs of growth and remove the cover gradually. 💧 Water Rooting Method Steps: Place the bottom end of the cutting in a jar of clean water. Keep the jar in bright, indirect light. Change the water every 2–3 days to prevent rot. Roots may begin forming in 2–4 weeks. Once roots are 1–2 inches long, transplant into soil. 🌱 Soil Rooting Method Steps: Use a mix of perlite and peat moss or cactus mix for good drainage. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone (optional but helpful). Plant 2–3 inches deep in moist soil. Cover with a plastic dome or bag to maintain humidity. Place in indirect light and keep soil moist but not soggy. Roots typically form in 3–6 weeks.
