Set of four vintage botanical flower prints from the English Flowers series published by Aspelin Art Galleries, Ltd. in 1984. These prints reproduce historic botanical engravings originally published in Transactions of the Horticultural Society of London in the early 1800s. Two of the prints are after engravings by William Hooker and two are after engravings by William Say. Each print is presented in a coordinating gold bamboo wood frame with a linen look matting. Frames measure approximately 14" x 12" and are ready to hang. Together, the set creates a coordinated botanical gallery wall that displays beautifully. Titles in the set include Double Sweet Scented Chinese Peony, Hybrid Amaryllis Regina Vittata, Fan Iris, and Crinum Goveniarum Hybridum.
