Soliloquy 5.2 HI-END Loudspeakers Made in USA RARE!!! Beautiful pair of Soliloquy 5.2 loudspeakers Hand-crafted in the USA, early 2000s high-end 5.25 mid-bass driver & 1” tweeter (Twitter: Scan-speak d2008/8512x, Woofer: Vifa M13WG-09) Nominal impedance: 8 ohms Real wood veneer cabinets! Open for audition Original crossovers and marble stands specially ordered for this pair. Very nice condition for these age, only single dent. Left speaker woofer was recently reconed. If your reading this you probably know the history of the Soliloquy 5.2 speaker. It was designed by Dennis Had of Cary Audio before he sold the company. The regular version hardly comes up for sale but this version is especially rare and unique as only 4 pairs were said to be made with one pair still owned by Dennis Had himself. In the past I've heard these speakers called the hot rodded version. I have the manual, restrictors and plugs for the transmission line. These speakers put out the largest soundstage of any speaker I've heard, and I've heard a lot of high end speakers. New factory original scanspeak tweeters were just installed so these are good to go. We are moving and I don't want these wrecked. Serious inquires only.
