No noticeable scratches or stains. While the WM-55 powers on and motor engages, cassette playback could not be tested due to lack of a tape. Audio output was confirmed via the tuner. The CTP-1A successfully received both AM and FM radio signals. Battery compartments are clean with no corrosion or leakage. Due to the item's age, please understand it is sold as-is. The unit was in good condition physically, But did not Work. I wont rule out that being handled roughly in Shipping could have caused the Promblem. Okay I found a spring had fell out the transport. Excellent seller! Totally recommend! Bass arrived on time all the way from Japan to N. Ireland. Strings loosened for the journey. Quick tune up and intonation is perfect. Set up is extremely comfortable to play. Well packed too! Everything as it should be in the description. Customs charge was quite high but worth it. Overall a great transaction! Very happy!
