Description

Staffordshire Victorian figure pair of spaniel dogs known as Grace and Majesty. The figures are modelled standing on green and pink plinth bases. This pair of spaniel dogs are one of the rarest canine figures produced by the Staffordshire potteries. Grace and Majesty are often seen as the top quality pair in a collection of Staffordshire pottery dogs, hence the name Grace and Majesty. Both have authenticity stickers on bottoms from antique dealer in New York. Measurements: each measures approx. 7.75" tall x 7" long. Condition: Very Good Condition, no large chips, usual crazing from age, a few tiny tiny areas of paint loss to the top of the heads and here and there (see pictures)
