This is a fine scarce “Mallard”, “Redheads” and “Green Wing Teal” bird waterfowl nature study themed design collection with gleaming beaded sterling rims that will make a stunning showpiece for display or use. Excellent surviving examples in superb condition for their period status, c1940, kindly view photo gallery, and rarely seen in an important waterfowl motif collection, an impressive set. The fine color illustration by British-American nature artist Dennis Puleston (1905-2001) is hand applied to the China that is perfect for serving appetizers or garnishes, and is in excellent condition with no cracks.
