The standard of excellence achieved by Tamiya is regarded as among the very finest in the world of model hobbies. This finely detailed plastic model kit requires assembly and painting. First introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show as the HSX concept car, the GTO went on sale to the public in October of the next year. Bursting with power and the latest technological wonders, its combination of performance and considerable safety vaulted the car impressively onto the 4WD sports car scene. The top grade model had a 280hp 3-liter V6 DOHC twin turbo front engine and a full-time 4WD setup with center diff, plus electronically-regulated four-wheel suspension, ABS, 4-wheel steering, adjustable front and rear spoilers, an active exhaust system that let you tinker with the exhaust sound: the list of hi-tech design features was almost endless. The GTO would also lay the foundation for Mitsubishi's high performance 4WD sports cars of the future. The powerful form of the car is accurately captured in 1/24 scale. A detailed underside has depictions of the front strut/rear double wishbone setups and the exhaust system with its active exhaust. The interior features realistic recreations of the dashboard and seats. The former has right- and left-hand drive versions included in the box. Decals are included to recreate emblems and logos. Tires are solid synthetic rubber.

The packaging protected the item well during shhipping. S the price of shipping was reasonable and on time. The price of the item was very reasonable. Communication was a bit lacking however. Nevertheless will recommend seller to other buyers. Will do business with seller in the near future.
