Description

The item is an electric radio-controlled car assembly kit designed for excellent performance on rough terrain, featuring six-wheel drive and oversized tires. The Kong Head 6x6 model boasts a slim and highly rigid monocoque frame, utilizing gears for power distribution across all six wheels, offering surprising drive force that belies its comical appearance. The gear case is integrated with the frame and is sealed to prevent sand and small stones from entering, while incorporating a differential gear for smooth cornering. With a size of 453mm in length, 270mm in width, and 234mm in height, it has a wheelbase of 173mm plus 126mm, and a track width of 200mm for all three axles. Each of the six wheels features tires that are 68mm wide and 113mm in diameter, mounted on chrome-plated deep rim wheels. The body is constructed of polycarbonate, inspired by the striking design of an American trailer head, with additional details such as air cleaners and mufflers made from plated parts to enhance its scale appearance. It features a monocoque frame, gear-driven 6WD operation, three bevel differentials, equal-length two-piece steering tie rod, and fully independent double wishbone suspension. The gear ratio is 18.03:1, powered by an RS540 type motor, and the speed controller is of the ESC specification (sold separately). Additional items needed for operation include a Fine Spec 2.4G electric RC drive set and four AA batteries for the transmitter. The third axle can also be controlled, but this requires modification to the suspension parts and a compatible RC controller for 4WS from other manufacturers.
