Please note that this is not the novel, with the same title, written by Michael Crichton (Mr. Crichton borrowed the title for one of his "Jurassic Park" novels). This is an attractive edition, with an early 20th-century look and feel, which includes illustrations. The novel is an adventure tale - a quest to reach a remote area (in South America) where animals (including dinosaurs), considered to be long extinct, are rumoured to still be living.
