The radio was as described. The packing was mixed. The vacuum tubes were removed and packed separately as requested. However, the radio was single-boxed, even though double-boxing was requested (standard packing for this type of item). Also, the radio was wrapped with bubble wrap. This type of packing is very susceptible to shipping damage. The item did arrive undamaged, thanks to luck.
Unit itself was very good condition. Its ancient box is pretty sad, but then the photos show that. The included operating sheet was "gold" in itself for this collector. The shipping packaging was very well done so the vulnerable Bakelite arrived undamaged.
This seller shipped very promptly and everything was packaged well. The camera arrived looking exactly as described, even better than in the pictures.
