Welcome to my listing for: Toy Story Collection ‘White Logo’ Premium Buzz Lightyear RARE Condition: Used but in excellent shape Thinkway toys created the most movie accurate Toy Story toys during a 10 year period between 2009 and 2019 and called the series “Toy Story Collection”. This consisted of three main releases. Cloud logo box which were the first editions, White logo box and finally the Signature Series/ 20th Anniversary. All from these series are highly sought after for various reasons and considered the best of the best of Toy Story dolls especially where Buzz is concerned. Digital scans and CAD data was used from Pixar for all details of Buzz to make him as movie accurate as possible. Thinkway Toys unfortunately ceased trading and went out of business in 2021. Disney now has the license for all Toy Story toys which are nowhere near as movie accurate. Which is why this one looks as good as he does. His buttons, sounds and lights have all been tested and are working perfectly. The rotating side to side head motor unfortunately does not work (common problem with these Buzz figures) but this has never bothered me as Buzz doesn’t actually have a head motor in the film so it isn’t a movie accurate feature required. His wings spring out on the button and clip back in nicely. Good joints. No issues. Batteries will be removed for postage to comply with postage rules. x3 AA batteries will be required to power Buzz. Batteries are easy to install. The batteries compartment is hidden behind his wing pack cover. Do not ever attempt to unscrew the wing pack cover! These are fake screws, this just pops off with a little pull backwards and refits in the same manner. There is a toggle switch on the underside of Buzz’s chest which toggles between three modes: demo, off and play. It will be set to off for postage. A fantastic Buzz display piece for the 30th Anniversary of Toy Story. With the new Toy Story 5 film just around the corner it’s the perfect time to add him to your collection.
