Functionality: Octal Non-Inverting Buffer: It has 8 independent buffers that pass the input signal to the output without inverting it. A high input results in a high output, and a low input results in a low output. 3-State Output: The outputs of each buffer can be in one of three states: high, low, or high-impedance (off). This high-impedance state effectively disconnects the buffer from the bus, allowing multiple devices to share the same bus line without contention. Two Enable Inputs: It features two active low enable inputs (1G and 2G). Each enable input controls four buffers, allowing for independent control of two groups of four buffers. Technical Specifications: CMOS Technology: Built using silicon-gate CMOS technology, which offers a good balance of speed and low power consumption. TTL Compatible: The inputs and outputs are compatible with TTL logic levels, enabling seamless interfacing with TTL devices. High Drive Current: Designed to drive large capacitive loads, making it suitable for high-speed operation even when driving long bus lines or heavily loaded buses.
