Item arrived on time as promised and carefully packaged. The item is an Elecrtic Element for a Whirlpool Range, with a built-in thermostat to control the heat, but it does not seem to control the range of heat as it is supposed to. The element remains on contantly and in the extreme heat it is not a good practice to generate heat without a good reason.
