Beautifully crafted ceramic pottery pitcher and six cups with stunning shades of brown, orange and pink. Handcrafted in Vallauris, France using traditional pottery making techniques, circa mid-1950s. Most commonly used as a lemonade set but can be used to serve any of your favorite beverages. This French mid-century ceramic lemonade set would enhance any table. The pottery of Vallauris born at the time of the Roman occupation was revived by Picasso with a new creative impetus to the pottery. This drains the arrival of artists like Jean Marais and many others. Vallauris became fashionable in the years 1950-60, and developed ceramics as art.
