Description
Brilhart pre 1967 metal level air tenor sax mouthpiece #7 tip opening Serial # 14237. I believe this is possibly a Carlsbad mouthpiece, due to horizontal milling marks on the table and the polished baffle. Also, the 5 digit serial # indicates early or mid 1960's. I've played a bunch of the Level air mouthpieces, and this one plays the best of them, very bright with lots of body. The bite plate was repaired sometime in the past with epoxy covering bite marks, does not affect playability. Other than that, mouthpiece is in excellent condition. Includes ligature and cap.
