Description

The Dhurrie Kilim Style Wool Rug is a handmade, reversible area rug featuring a geometric floral pattern in pastel colors. Measuring 60" x 36", this Southwestern style rug is crafted from wool using a flat weave technique. This was purchased from a local estate and I know it’s at least 45-50 years old, so it’s vintage, could be older maybe. Pretty country colors. It is reversible. Please look at the photos carefully, it has been used and is not perfect by any means. There are some spots- I did not try to clean them. Please look at the photos carefully and do not bid if you are not comfortable with the spots that are visible on the rug. There are photos of both sides of the rug which are part of the description. I ship quickly and securely. I try to note anything I notice about an item but please use photos for condition, I take pictures of any problem areas I see. If you have any questions though please ask and I’ll take another look or send more pictures or info. I want to make your buying experience a good one, please let me know if I can improve. Thank you for looking and please be sure to check out my other items! Why I eBay story: We are a blended and blessed family from central Missouri. We have two sons and a daughter. I work in communications and my wife is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who used to work with veterans. We enjoy everything about our small-town life: the sense of community, our church, the equine community, being involved in our kids activities. In early September 2025 we were in California celebrating our son’s graduation from Marine Corps Boot Camp in California. Before that trip my wife had been doing physical therapy, having injections and various other treatments for some neck and shoulder orthopedic issues for some time. In September the pain had increased significantly and after that trip she went back to the orthopedic doctor and had a shoulder MRI done anticipating a shoulder surgery. Instead they found a mass in her lung. After a flurry of appointments and tests my wife was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer in October that turned our world upside down. Not only was it in her lung but had spread to other distant areas of her body. It goes without saying we have a few challenges with the ongoing treatment but we have a deep faith and unshakeable hope. We know that God has a plan. Our daughter is a horse kid, she loves all things equestrian and shows in both western and English disciplines. The cancer diagnosis, treatments, and ongoing care required for my wife is not only expensive but she has not been able to work. We were fortunate she had a lot of leave time but that came to an end as she is unable to return to work. She recently broke a rib due to the cancer in her bones despite starting a new treatment regimen. Needless to say the fun horse extras like shows were at risk due to our financial situation. Our daughter has an entrepreneurial spirit and she immediately wanted to help with finances. We asked that she work toward her horse habit instead— everything about horse showing us expensive—and that is how Zoey’s Bubbles and Blessings handmade soaps and body products was created. In a short period of time she has locally become a fan favorite for her products in an amazingly short time. We knew we loved her products but when people immediately asked for more it was clear that everyone else appreciated her wonderful products. Her handmade soaps are made with natural, healthy ingredients that leave your skin feeling good and they are made with love. We post a few here but her Facebook page of the same name is the best way to order from her. In the meantime my wife and I enjoy perusing estate sales and finding antique and vintage things to collect when she feels like it. When I can sell some of these items it helps with all of the unexpected expenses that have come along with the cancer diagnosis as well as the extra medical bills, health insurance, and the gap in income left. If you have read this far thank you so much for following our story and looking at or purchasing my items. As I said before we have deep faith. There is always hope and we are praying every day for a miracle!
