These date back to 1949 as The "PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF" or its abbreviation P.R.O.C. in Western or Chinese characters was added from 1949. There are three of the baskets that have the original sticker --- for collectors, this means a lot as you rarely see the original stickers from back in the 40's. I am totally amazed by these nesting baskets and the condition is extremely good. These are over 75 years old and gorgeous! This set includes four vintage Nantucket-style baskets with a Boho and Cottage Core aesthetic. Handmade in 1949, these round, medium-sized baskets are woven from sweetgrass in a multi-color pattern. Each basket has different measurements and the largest measures at approximately 6 inches in width, and 4.5 inches in height, featuring a lid and a handle for easy storage. With a charming Country Cabin Core style, these baskets are suitable for various rooms and occasions, adding a rustic touch to any space. You may see other items in the background.
