Description
This vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre Club Watch dates from the 1960s or 1970s. It is housed in a round, stainless steel case with a fixed bezel and a black two-piece strap with a buckle closure. The watch has a black dial with 12-hour indices and intermediate minute markings. The dial has "Jaeger LeCoultre" & "17 jewels" marked on it, and it is in such good condition that it was almost certainly repainted at some point in the past. The manual movement has 17 jewels. This case measures 35mm across, excluding the crown, by 42mm lug-to-lug. The movement is engraved with "LeCoultre & Co", "17 Jewels", and "Swiss". It keeps very good vintage time, better than a minute or so per day. Due to its age, it is no longer water-resistant and does not come with papers, service records, original packaging, or manual. However, it is a classic style dress/formal watch that would make a great addition to any collection or as an everyday wearer. Price is negotiable.
