ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BROOCH HAND PAINTED TROPICAL BIRD SILHOUETTE BRASS FRAME C-CLASP Wonderful hand painted bird silhouette on gold background. The ground could be card stock but I didn’t take it apart to check. Clear celluloid cover and blue celluloid(?) protective backing. Lovely pressed brass frame. The painting is enclosed in the frame with tiny tabs. C-clasp holds securely. The Victorians were obsessed with birds, insects, butterflies and all manner of flora and fauna. Very nice!
