Description
Tiny mid 1800s mourning brooch that has hair under original glass. The hair is dark and tightly woven. The brooch has a C clasp and tube hinge. There are some dark/black enamel style details on the tips of the twist style edges. The brooch measures measures 5/8" high and 7/8" across. The pin stem is slightly wavy but fits well in the C clasp. The piece is in nice antique condition. The glass is very nice. The gold plated surface has normal mild surface scratches and some wear.
