1880's Black Onyx or French Jet Mourning Pin w/ Applied Leaf & Seed Pearl center. The stones are beveled and set in either gold filled or pinchbeck setting. Measures 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" Missing one of the circular stones otherwise, great condition with minimal wear on the bevel edge of the large stone (it's barely noticeable). C clasp on back and the hinge works fine. Has 3 tiny loops that likely held some dangles. There is also a loop on the back that would have been used to hang a locket with memento inside (mourning).
