Rare and authentic 1930s–1940s military/workwear shearling vest . This WWII-era piece is similar in construction to Swedish Army M1909/M1910 shearling vests and U.S. cold-weather workwear issued to aircrew and ground crews. Crafted with a suede leather exterior , thick genuine shearling wool lining , olive drab cotton trim , and rib-knit side gussets for mobility. Front features two large patch pockets and a metal zipper closure . Measurements (approx.): Chest (pit-to-pit): 22” Length (shoulder to hem): 26” Condition: Heavily distressed from decades of use with visible hand-stitched repairs and staining (see photos). Leather is worn but supple, shearling lining intact. Zipper functional. Every mark and stitch adds to the garment’s authenticity and appeal for collectors.
