Vintage 1930's Wyandotte Coast to Coast Bus Line Pressed Steel Toy No. 1002 . This highly collectible, original. The rear door (usually missing) is intact and in working condition. Free eBay listing template designed by dewiso.com Vintage 1930's Wyandotte Coast to Coast Bus Line Pressed Steel Toy No. 1002 This highly collectible, original. unrestored 1930's Wyandotte Coast to Coast Bus Line pressed steel streamline toy bus (Model 1002) was manufactured by the All-Metal Products Company of Wyandotte, Michigan. Measuring a massive 21" long, with an Art Deco shark nose with airflow styling, it is in exceptional condition for its age and displays well. The toy is complete with no major damage, although it does show some play wear. The rear door (usually missing) is intact and in working condition. There is a minor shallow dent on the white cab roof, however it is subtle and does not stretch or crease the steel, and is difficult to capture on camera. The right Coast to Coast decal shows some flaking (as seen in pictures) but the left decal is in much better condition. The lettering, geometric arrow accent, and the circular Wyandotte emblem is entirely legible and displays well. The fragile black painted front bumper and multi-slat grill is 100% original, straight and fully intact. The black chassis is clean with exceptional original paint coverage. It prominently features the factory imprinted makers mark "All-Metal Prod, Co Wyandotte, Mich. U.S.A. Pat App For." This distinct manufacturing variant is highly sought after by collectors. The axles are perfectly straight, unbent, and all four original wheels roll smoothly with original hub inserts intact. There is localized surface oxidation and paint chipping, mostly concentrated along the edges of the rear door and along the front bumper. There is scuffs, scrapes and minor paint loss from play wear and 80+ years of storage/display but it still displays well. A really nice looking example of this old pressed steel bus!
