Vintage TAXCO Mexican Sterling Silver Cufflinks DIMENSIONS: Front: 1" x 13/16". Combined weight: 27.6 grams. DESCRIPTION: Vintage cufflinks. Sterling silver. Rectangular front with diagonal stripe of inlaid black stone. Hinged back with bar toggle closure. All original. Maker's marks: one cufflink stamped "Sterling - Taxco". Mid 20th century. Mexico. I have gently polished the fronts only and left the backs oxidized as found. CONDITION: Both cufflinks are in excellent original condition. No damage and no significant wear. No restorations / repairs. Used, not abused. No dings, dents, scuffs, cracks, chips, flakes, bends, breaks. No significant scratches or rubs. No edge wear. The toggles hold position as designed with no issues. On close inspection you may detect light typical use- / handling-related wear: scattered fine superficial scratches and rubs. Nothing at all significant or conspicuous. I gently polished the fronts only. The backs retain old patina as found with typical age-related oxidation.
Hard to find item the price was justified. It is exactly as described if not better. Quite frankly the packaging fire exceeded my expectations. There was a small problem with USPS taking six extra days to ship, but I don't hold that against the seller if they sent it out in the timely manner. Also great communication when there was problem with the postal service. Most definitely would purchase an item from them again
