Brown hair, original seal, unopened new in box. Item is in great condition with minor box wear, as shown in pictures. This item was stored in a temperature controled environment in storage since purched in 1999. The knife and shovel has fallen to the bottom of the box since the plastic tie-down has deteriorated over 25 years ( very, very common). The product is a G.I.
