I contacted the seller and s/he told me to unwrap the clock. The Seth Thomas Sharon is a gentle clock., it was more exquisite than described. The ticking sound is soothing and the chime is subtle.The shipping in the end was great and the price was fair. Mark this seller s/he is a clock collector and knows his/her stuff!
