Description

This vintage Berkshire dress is a Mod-inspired piece in solid navy blue semi-sheer nylon mesh. It features a short sleeve, knee-length silhouette with a hidden snap/zipper closure. Perfect for various occasions like travel, parties, or casual wear, the dress is in a women's size XL (approx. size 16). With a retro Rockabilly style and Space Age theme, this unique piece was made in the United States during the 1950s. Wow, beautiful! Really superb condition, minty fresh and super crisp/fresh looking and feeling fabric on this one. Has an original crisp Berkshire label still present on the interior as well. Really beautiful retro dress with solid navy blue fabric in a kind of different thick mesh that I'm pretty sure is nylon, gives it a semi sheer look to the fabric. It has a breast flap design on front with a button design at the top corner, see pics - this is a faux design only feature; when you fold the flap back it has a hidden snap underneath the corner, then a hidden zipper and hook and eye closure inside at the bottom of the zip. Super cool! It does have belt loops and no belt, so It's missing that, you'll have to improvise with some kind of a match if you choose to wear it that way.
